Week 3 Lab1 (Track Modelling)

We need to create a track model.First we need to draw a plane.Drag out to create a rectangle. Then we need to set specific value to the width, height and breath,After that we should rotate the plane vertically straight.90 degree perpendicularly to the grid.
After that we need to
Hold the right-click option and choose Assign New Material > Blinn from the menu. Then the attribute editor appear,we have to name the material Track_Profile.Follow by
in the attribute editor > common material attributes dropdown,
choose the button next to color.
Then,in the Create Render Node dialog, under 2D Textures, choose
File.Next we need to open the jpeg image that is show in the picture.

If the image is not centered correctly on the plane. To fix
this, you normalize the UVs.

Next, we need to chose mesh>create polygons tools. Then we start to create our polygon.Following the line holdshift+click for straight line.Line that is slant does not have to hold shift. As you can see the image of the polygon is form.Highlighted in pink
Then we have to right click>for vertex mode to edit and straighten the lines and make the lines accurate>object mode
After that we need to turn the visibility off.

Follow by we need to use edit mesh>extrude and set the setting options. After that we need to extrude the polygon a small amount to the z axis. Then we need to change the value fot translate z and the specific pivot stated.

A track is form.It seems to be very long. Then we need to rotate the track to see the underside.

Follow by edit mesh>insert edge loop tool.We need to click on the edge to insert.Leading us to use scale tool and scale it to 2.9 on the x axis.

Next we need to select face mode. Then we need to select the faces as shown in peach. This means it is selected. After that we must edit mesh>extrude by setting the specific value stated in the channel box.

After that a new face is create at the end.We then use the extrude command again to extrude the surface.Next we need to make the necessary setting in the channel box
In the Channel Box, set Local Translate Z to 3.
This will create the image shown here...

We chose the edge mode.
After that we choose the two small edges at the outer corners of the new polygon.
Edit mesh>bevel.Change the settings as stated.

Next,we need to switch the menu set on the status line to animation.
On the main menu,
create deformers>non-linear>bend
Follow by making the necessary value setting to the rotate X and curvature.
Lastly, the outliner.
We need to go to main menu>windows>outliner
Select bend1_handle and drag under track1_profile.(+) this sign will appear next to the track1_profile.
