Week11 Lab 1 Ex2 Creating My bouncing ball

This is my Week 11 ( e learning) Exercise 2 using the skills and knowledge learn to create a maya animation of my bouncing ball.







After setting the key frames properly. I went to the graph editors to take a look at the translate X and Y. In order to make the ball bounce in a real and more realistic way, i apply break tangents and linear to the translate. But i chose the correct point and apply it. If not the effect will be wrong. By using linear where it will change the curvature around the key point from a round to a corner. Hence it will bounce sharper. Not just this i also need to select and adjust the tangents handle to make a better positioning to it.


Break tangents is also apply. This is because i try to apply the things i have learn to stimulate a better animation. Break tangents allows me to select the right, left tangents, and by using the move tool to move it for a better and accurate positioning. This would have a better effect of elasticity, more rubber in simple terms(: . Gravity can also be seen pulling the ball down, accelerating...

This is a screen shot when it reach the ground, after that it will bounce as shown in the above video.
