Reflection (positive thoughts and negative thoughts)

This project provides me with the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge I had learn during the lab. I think this is a good way for me to practice, learn and explore other new skills, or tools that can be useful in my project, not just by applying what I have learned. It is limited. So I have to be independent and motivated to do my part of self learning. Looking at tutorials to see how other people model. I would see what approaches I can use, but something different. Therefore I gain something new. As learning does not stop here. This new knowledge can be apply in future projects.

Personally, it’s a hard and stressful time for me. This is because when I first start with the image plane problems approaches. When one problem is solve, another problem comes again. Sometimes it is very frustrating while doing the project. I tried to solve it myself when I encounter with a problem while doing. If the problem can be solve I will give it a solution. By referring to the previous exercise or tutorials helps. If cannot I will consult teacher for help. Teacher will try to understand my question and guide me along. I am glad that my lecturers are very patient. This is because I had ask him quite a lot of question. I feel that I had learn a lot through asking question when I am in doubt or unsure. It allows me to learn better. But sometimes the question I ask is actually what he had gone through in class. Some of the parts I did not note it down. I just listen and pay attention to him. I feel that by paying attention first is more important. This is because if I copy down notes I will not be able to absorb what lecturer is saying as I am busying writing, but when time slowly past I will slightly forget some parts he had taught. Hence I told myself writing down notes is also important, if I am not sure while doing my lab exercise or project in future, I will be able to refer to my note. Sometimes I am confused on what I am suppose to do even forgetting the parts, things lecturers had taught me in class, there are too many things.example the steps, so I have to spend a lot of time redoing the same part again and again, for me it’s like a practice. I know practice makes perfect. Therefore, I feel that this project allows me to be more independent and perseverance throughout. Not to give up when met with difficulties although sometimes its really difficult for me as a beginner, first timer to model the object out just by referring to my real bus model object I have with me. However, when I have completed with my project, I felt very happy, satisfied and relief. Looking at the final model, a sense of satisfaction and mixture of feelings, that cannot be express out. It’s a long way, but I have finally overcome it and completed it before the dateline.
