Video 2
Video 3
Final Video
First, if we need to ensure everything work smoothly, we need to set the settings. Basically for this steps, we need to select Window>Setting/Preferences>Preferences.
By clicking settings category, we will be able to chane the timing of the film ( frame per second) with the settings set properly, we can start doing our animation. Save
We need to set the playback end time box, by entering 72 as shown in the tutorial given. Then at frame 1 (one) insert a key frame by pressing S key. Then a red line will shown in frame 1. This picture is on frame 1
Then a red line will shown in frame 1. Next we move the ball to the other side of the fence and go to frame 72 and press S, This means to animate the ball by setting the key frames. Moving from 1 point to another. ( The video is shown in Video 1) ABOVE
After that we need to follow on with the tutorials to arrange the object and set it at the appropriate place for a better animation. ( This means to set a intermediate keyframes) As to set in on other keyframes to make it bounce up
We need to use the move tool to shift the ball slightly above the fence. Y axis handle adjust it. same as move tool. Set a key, Press S. The ball will now flies off the ground , over the fence. ( Shown in Video 2 ABOVE)
Continue setting keyframes. Adjusting the ground. Side View. This is to make sure the positioning is correct. If the positioning is wrong. The animation will not be nice.
This is to set the keyframes to make it bounce, Move the ball arranging the right postion for the bounce effect.
When it lands on the ground. We need to move the ball down and then set a key by pressing S.
This is the part where the animation ends.
We then move on to the graph editors. Under Animation editors>graph editors. At the side of the graph editor there is a panel of translates. Select the translate X and Y. Therefore we only see the the red and blue plottings.
We then need to adjust the graph while going through the tutorials. Following what it say to get a appropriate and good plotting. So we must edit the points to make the animation looks more real and smoother.
The tools that is use are like select tangents>linear. This changes the curvature around the key point from rounded to cornered. This will alow the ball to bounce even sharply.
Next, is by using select key> Break tangents, So that we can move the tangents independently. Therefore, we must adjust accordingly. Hence it will bounce to better effect of the elasticity and gravitational pull.
Other than that, a brief summary of what other things i done. They are changing the timing of an attribute, Fine tuning the animation and also to make the animation smoother, we need to delete the unnecessary key points. Lastly play blast is to render our scene, in order to see the full animation playing properly.
